Christopher & Mariangelie Cruz

Christopher and Mariangelie Cruz are passionate leaders with a deep love for Jesus, a deep commitment to ministry and the community and a heart for the local church. Christopher was called into ministry at just thirteen years old. After serving the US Army, now a veteran Chris has devoted his life to spreading the message of Jesus Christ. Mariangelie worked for many years in the customer service and administration field. Her sense of pastoral calling began during her ministry work alongside her mother at a young age. 

In 2018, Christopher, along with his wife Mariangelie, arrived at CLS FMC where their journey began with their service to the local community, small groups. They took a significant leap of faith by advancing their studies at Asbury Theological Seminary along with FMC Pastoral Formation . In March 17, 2024, Christopher and Mariangelie were appointed as lead pastors of Dade City Free Methodist Church now called Christ Firm Foundation FMC. Here the pastoral family has experienced remarkable growth, looking forward to expanding in Pasco County. They’re fulfilling their mission is to serve and restore people towards Christ, community, and calling. Cruz's vision for multiplication and local impact drives his commitment to see the local church thrive and reach more people for Christ.

Christopher and Mariangelie are both currently in their third year of Bilingual MA of Art in Ministry at Asbury Theological Seminary. The pastoral family is a testament to their dedication in turning challenges into opportunities for growth. They believe in the power of networking with sister churches of the Free Methodist Church. When they are not leading CFF Church, they enjoy volunteering with local sports little leagues, exploring new places through travel, and cherishing time with each other in marriage and their seven children:Jeadrian, Jeankaila, Chaeliz, Kristian, Alyana, Naara and Josias. The Cruz family is completed by Myles, their beloved goldendoodle, who is truly the best companion dog on the planet.
